Trau's 34-yard FG lifts Richmond over Albany, 41-38 in 2OT

RICHMOND, Va. -- Kyle Lauletta accounted for four touchdowns, and Griffin Trau kicked a 34-yard field goal in the second overtime to give Richmond a 41-38 victory over Albany on Saturday.

The teams traded touchdowns in the first overtime. Richmond's Daniel Jones blocked Ethan Stark's 40-yard field goal attempt in the second OT.

Lauletta threw for 353 yards and three touchdowns to lead Richmond (3-2, 1-1 Colonial Athletic Association). Lauletta's 3-yard touchdown pass to Dejon Brissett tied the game at 31 with 1:27 left in regulation. Lauletta tossed a 22-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Wilkins, and a 64-yard score to Cortrelle Simpson. Lauletta also ran for an 11-yard TD.

Lauletta has 62 career touchdown passes to eclipse Eric Ward for the top spot at Richmond.

Will Brunson had 339 yards passing, and threw four touchdown passes and ran for another score for Albany (3-2, 1-1).
