Princeton beats Brown 48-10 behind Davidson's 4 passing TDs
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Kevin Davidson threw for four touchdowns and Princeton rolled to a 48-10 win over Brown to remain undefeated on Saturday.
Davidson was 26 for 39 for 304 yards passing for the Tigers (5-0, 2-0 Ivy League). Charlie Volker ran for 108 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries and Jesper Horsted caught 13 passes for 169 yards and two scores. Stephen Carlson also caught a touchdown pass and had 127 receiving yards.
Davidson capped the Tigers' first drive with a short touchdown throw to Ryan Quigley. Later, Davidson threw a 62-yard scoring strike to Horsted to make it 14-0 with 7:26 left in the first quarter.
Volker opened the second quarter with a 2-yard touchdown run to stretch Princeton's lead to 21-0 and took it in again from 22 yards out and the Tigers were up 28-0 at halftime.
McGovern threw for 146 yards for the Bears (1-4, 0-2). Allen Smith ran for 54 yards and Brown's only touchdown.
