HANOVER, N.H. -- Jared Gerbino threw for three touchdowns as Dartmouth beat winless Colgate 38-3 on Saturday. Gerbino was 12-of-16 passing for 193 yards for the Big Green (2-0) before being relieved by Derek Kyler in the fourth quarter. Dartmouth scored on its first three drives, beginning with Gerbino's 30-yard strike to Hunter Hagdorn. Caylin Parker followed that score with a 4-yard touchdown run, capping an eight-play, 69-yard drive, for a 14-0 lead with 2:11 left in the first quarter. Gerbino's next touchdown throw was a 40-yarder hauled in by Drew Estrada midway through the second quarter. Connor Davis added a 39-yard field goal just before halftime for a 24-0 Dartmouth lead. Colgate managed a field goal late in the third but Gerbino replied with his third touchdown throw, this one from 34 yards to Robbie Mangas, to make it 31-3 with 2:52 left in the quarter. Noah Rothman threw for 130 yards for the Raiders (0-5).
