The Broncos released fullback Mike Burton Friday and moved guard Calvin Throckmorton from the practice squad to the active roster. Throckmorton has been a gameday elevation for the Broncos multiple times this season. Burton, who started the season on the team's practice squad, would be expected to re-sign on the practice squad. Burton has played 80 snaps on offense this season (16% of the total snaps), but has played 149 snaps on special teams (68%).
