Away point for Red Devils

Crawley snatched a 1-1 draw at Oldham to ease the pressure on boss John Gregory. After a turbulent week which saw five players transfer listed, Gregory's side took a hard-earned away point thanks to Gwion Edwards' fine equaliser.Oldham debutant Daniel Johnson, on loan from Aston Villa, needed just seven minutes to open his account as he superbly cut through the heart of the visiting defence and slotted in from 10 yards.Mike Jones and Danny Philliskirk saw powerful efforts stopped by goalkeeper Jamie Ashdown as Latics chased a second goal.Crawley's leveller, three minutes prior to half-time, stemmed from poor Oldham defending as keeper Paul Rachubka hesitated and played his side into trouble before being beaten by a stunning 25-yard drive from Edwards.Lee Johnson's men created several chances in a dominant spell in the second period, but Jones was denied twice and both Philliskirk and Timothee Dieng missed the target.Dieng headed another opening straight at Ashdown, while Bobbie Bawling tested Rachubka from 20 yards in a rare Crawley attack.
