O's break home duck

Leyton Orient recorded their first home league win of the season with a 4-1 success over fellow strugglers Crewe.Goals from Gianvito Plasmati, Chris Dagnall, Dean Cox and David Mooney also earned Mauro Milanese his first league win as O's boss. The home side went ahead with a classic centre-forward's goal after 23 minutes. Italian striker Plasmati rose in the penalty area to meet a cross from Dagnall to send his header across Alex keeper Ben Garratt and into the net.Strike partner Dagnall, a constant threat to the visitors, then doubled the lead 11 minutes later when he hammered a pass from Josh Wright low into the right-hand corner from 12 yards.Orient started the second period in positive mode adding a third goal after 61 minutes when the tireless Dagnall raced onto a through pass by Romain Vincelot. Garratt was unable to hold the shot and Cox stabbed home the loose ball from close range. The visitors pulled a goal back when Anthony Grant slammed home a 25-yard drive on 70 minutes to breathe spirit back into his side, but Orient ended their hopes after a move involving Cox and Dagnall teed up Mooney for the simplest of chances.
