Five star Saddlers unseat Crawley
Young striker Jordy Hiwula scored two goals as Walsall virtually assured their League One safety with a 5-0 win over struggling Crawley at the Banks's Stadium. The 20-year-old, on loan from Manchester City, took his tally for the Saddlers to six in their biggest win of the season which sent the Red Devils deeper into relegation trouble.Walsall dominated throughout and took the lead in the 16th minute when Kieron Morris slipped a neat pass through for Hiwula to drill the ball past the advancing goalkeeper Brian Jensen.Crawley hoped to use their extra height by hammering the ball into the box as often as possible on the break, but the home defence stood firm. The Saddlers increased their lead in the 65th minute with Hiwula curling the ball into the top corner of the net from a Romaine Sawyers pass, and two minutes later Morris went through to hammer a tremendous drive into the roof of the net.Defender Andy Taylor got the fourth goal after 81 minutes with a deflected shot and substitute Jordan Cook completed the rout from Anthony Forde's pass in the 90 minute.
