Dons hit Orient for six
MK Dons moved to within a point of the automatic promotion places after cruising to a 6-1 win over Leyton Orient, who slipped into the bottom four.Dean Bowditch kick-started the rout in the 22nd minute when he poked home at the far post from a Will Grigg cross, before Rob Hall added a second two minutes later with a cross-shot that sailed through a crowded penalty area and into the net.Grigg netted a third, and his 21st of the campaign, from the penalty spot after Dele Alli was brought down under pressure from Chris Dagnall.Hall grabbed his second before half-time with a long-range strike, and then coolly slotted in his third just before the hour to complete his first professional hat-trick.Jay Simpson's 69th-minute strike from the edge of the area was merely a consolation for Orient before Alli added a stunning sixth for the Dons nine minutes from time, curling in a shot off the post.
