Reds win leaves Carlisle in danger
Two goals in three minutes kept Carlisle in the relegation fight as mid-table Accrington celebrated a 3-1 win. There was not a lot between the two teams in a dour first half but Piero Mingoia produced a moment of magic in the 24th minute, beating two defenders before firing home his eighth goal of the season and putting Stanley in front.Keith Curle's side came out all guns blazing after the break and substitute Mark Beck flashed a shot inches wide.Sean O'Hanlon's hooked effort found the side netting while Charlie Wyke's goalbound strike was blocked as the Cumbrians upped the pressure in the first 10 minutes after the break. However they were undone on a rare Accrington attack when Gerardo Bruna found Josh Windass who fired the ball low and hard into the bottom corner of the net after 62 minutes. And it was 3-0 three minutes later when Seamus Conneely's close-range effort from a corner rolled through goalkeeper Dan Hanford's legs as the Irishman celebrated his first league goal.Kyle Dempsey fired home a consolation goal in injury-time for Carlisle and they remain three points above the bottom two.
