Millwall 0-0 Fulham
Hugo Rodellega was denied a late winner for Fulham by the linesman's flag as the Cottagers' winless run stretched to seven games with a 0-0 draw at Millwall.Lee Gregory missed the best chance for the hosts in the first half, somehow firing over from close range after Jimmy Abdou's dangerous cross.Rodellega thought he had won it for the visitors with four minutes left after turning home Kostas Stafylidis' left-wing cross at the second attempt, only for it to be ruled out for offside. The result means Fulham are still looking for a first win on the road since December 13 while Millwall remain in the relegation zone and have not won at home in the league since October. It was a bright start from the hosts and Aiden O'Brien tested Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli with an early cross from the right. The Lions continued to dominate the opening exchanges and should have gone ahead on 12 minutes, but Gregory turned over the bar from close range after Abdou's right-sided cross.Fulham responded and nearly went ahead just after the quarter hour, but Alex Kacaniklic's shot was pushed away by David Forde after Lasse Vigen Christensen's counter down the right.Millwall hit back but the dangerous Diego Fabbrini's cross narrowly evaded the head of Martyn Woolford after brilliant skill from the Italian to beat his marker down the left-hand side of the box.The Cottagers slowly took control of the game and fashioned a number of good opportunities.First Kacaniklic curled an effort just wide of Forde's right-hand post before Rodallega then rippled the side-netting from the edge of the box after being picked out by captain Scott Parker.Former Leeds man Ross McCormack then fired a long distance effort straight at Forde, before skewing an acrobatic effort over the bar.Millwall had one final chance in the half, but Abdou's cross was safely collected by Bettinelli. The Lions began the second half well and Woolford's cross just missed the head of Fabbrini, before the Italian's cross was cleared away.Millwall continued to have the better of the half but a lightening counter almost ended with Rodallega converting Ryan Tunnicliffe's pass, but it was cleared for a corner.Kit Symons threw on Bryan Ruiz for a first appearance since a January loan switch to Spanish club Levante fell through.Lions boss Ian Holloway responded by giving Gary Taylor-Fletcher his debut after the 33-year-old joined on loan from Leicester on Friday until the end of the season. But it was the visitors who looked the more dangerous and Rodallega almost found space in the box but his effort was blocked. The Colombian was then denied a winning goal on 86 minutes as the two strugglers had to settle for a point apiece.ends
