Hertha Berlin 0-2 SC Freiburg
Pal Dardai's promising start to life as Hertha Berlin coach was brought to an abrupt end as they were sent back into the bottom three by Freiburg, who climbed above them thanks to a 2-0 win in the capital.Felix Klaus and Maximilian Philipp earned Freiburg only their second win of 2015 to lift them away from the foot of the table and above Berlin. The hosts once again disappointed at the Olympiastadion, where they have now been beaten six times, and last weekend's 2-0 win at Mainz has already been forgotten in the capital.Salomon Kalou made an immediate return to the Berlin team after returning from the African Nations Cup and he was soon involved in setting up Valentin Stocker, but his control let him down.Freiburg took the lead with their first real attack of the game, starting from a quickly taken throw-in which led to Karim Guede crossing for Klaus, whose shot went in off the post.Klaus then earned his stripes at the other end of the field, cutting out a cross from Stocker which was asking to be turned in by Nico Schulz.Schulz did not appear for the second half with Roy Beerens taking his place for the second 45 minutes, which got off to a bad start for the hosts.Philipp freed himself from Marvin Plattenhardt to head Jonathan Schmid's cross in with a fine diving header, leaving Hertha captain Thomas Kraft no chance. The hosts had chances to make the game interesting with Stocker's effort saved by his compatriot Roman Burki before Kalou saw his shot on the rebound blocked.Beerens was getting involved in the game a lot, but often he made the wrong decision, like when he chose not to shoot from a good position with 20 minutes left. When Stocker missed from a yard out in the 87th minute, that summed up Hertha's evening as they slumped back into relegation danger with last weekend's win at Mainz seeming like it may only have been a false dawn.ends
