Woods sinks Elgin
A 60-second brace from Paul Woods helped Queen's Park beat Elgin 2-1 in a dramatic Scottish League Two clash. The visitors broke the deadlock in the 34th minute as Shane Sutherland slotted home from Matthew Cooper's pass. However, manager Gus MacPherson clearly said something to his team at half-time, as two goals in quick succession for the hosts early in the second half turned the game on its head.Nine minutes after the restart, Woods twice found himself on the end of Chris Duggan passes, converting the first with his right foot and the second with his left, to secure a dramatic comeback for the hosts.
