Elgin's woes continue
Bottom side Elgin extended their winless run to nine games following a 1-1 draw at East Fife.Elgin dominated the first quarter of an hour, with chances for Shane Sutherland and Marvin Andrews, but it was the home side who took the lead in the 26th minute when Kevin Smith finished neatly from close range.Just eight minutes later and the basement club were level, Dennis Wyness latching on to a Brian Cameron pass and coolly finishing from the centre of the penalty area. Both keepers were forced into saves in the second half, with Elgin's Michael Fraser tipping over the crossbar from Allan Walker's effort.Mark Nicolson had a fantastic opportunity to snatch the visitors victory late on but his header went over from six yards.
