Chaplain answers Albion's prayers

Scott Chaplain scored twice as Albion piled the misery on Elgin with a 3-0 win.The visitors remain rooted to the bottom of the table as their winless league run was extended to 12 games.Chaplain took his tally for the season up to eight by scoring once in each half.He opened the scoring 15 minutes before the break, sliding in at the back post to score from Liam Cusack's low cross.Soon after Brian Cameron had rattled the crossbar from 25 yards for the visitors, Chaplain killed the game off with his second. Ross Davidson's corner found Chaplain in a pocket of space and the striker made the most of his time by steering in a low drive.Marc McKenzie then added a third in stoppage time, slotting in at the end of a counter-attack.
