Rampant Rangers sink Shire
Berwick began 2015 with a bang as they beat East Stirling 3-0 to move to within a point of the Scottish League Two play-off places. Scott Maxwell joined Berwick from The Shire last summer and he came back to haunt his former club as he slotted home Andy Russell's cross at the back post to give the hosts a 31st-minute lead. The Black and Gold only had to wait three minutes to double their advantage, Steven Notman heading home Paul Willis' free-kick.Berwick secured all three points just over a minute into the second half when Ross Drummond netted his first goal for the club by firing Russell's cross past Richard Barnard from 15 yards.
