Fifers leave it late
East Fife kept up their push for a play-off spot after coming from behind to beat Annan 2-1 in Scottish League Two.Midfielder Ross Brown should have put the hosts in front early on but he somehow blazed over from eight yards.Annan took the lead after 27 minutes when Steven Logan volleyed in striker Peter Weatherson's knock-down.Fife wasted another guilt-edged opportunity eight minutes later when Nathan Austin hit a post from close range. However, Austin atoned for his miss after 67 minutes with a cool finish following Allan Walker's brilliant cross.East Fife then snatched all three points a minute from time when an unnamed trialist prodded in Ross Brown's delivery to secure back-to-back league wins.
