Albion still sitting pretty

Albion remain top of the League Two table after a 3-1 win at Annan.All the goals came in the first half. Peter Weatherson was causing the leaders problems early on and he put a couple of headers wide, before Albion found some rhythm and took control of the game.Alistair Love scored twice in six minutes either side of the midway point of the first half, finishing off chances created for him by Michael Dunlop and then Mark McGuigan.Rabin Omar and Josh Todd went close for Annan who did reduce the deficit through Weatherson's low strike after 41 minutes.However, Albion quickly restored their two-goal lead before half-time when McGuigan headed in Edward Fern's cross.Weatherson nearly got another goal back in injury time but his left-foot effort was parried by goalkeeper Neil Parry.
