Play-off chasing Elgin and East Stirling had to settle for a point apiece after a goalless draw at Borough Briggs.Jamie Reid had an early chance for the hosts but his shot was well-held by Richard Barnard.Moments later City goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw was called into action to keep out a fierce drive from David Bates.Shane Sutherland was twice off target for Elgin when well-placed in the area before Barnard denied Archie MacPhee and Craig Gunn.After the break Sutherland and Darryl McHardy put headers wide and Chris Townsley, Maxwell Wright and Neil McCabe missed the target for East Stirling with no-one able to break the deadlock.
