White lifts Livi hopes

Jordan White boosted Livingston's survival bid with a second-half double as they came from behind to win 2-1 at fellow strugglers Cowdenbeath.Nat Wedderburn had put the home side on course for a vital victory but White's brace clinched back-to-back wins for Livi, who are now five points behind their opponents with two games in hand.Cowdenbeath almost took an early lead when Colin Marshall's free-kick from 25 yards struck the crossbar, while the biggest talking point of the first half came late on when referee Crawford Allan appeared to award Livingston a penalty but, after consulting his linesman, he instead gave a free-kick to Cowdenbeath. The deadlock was broken two minutes into the second half when Wedderburn found the net with a left-foot volley for his first goal of the season.Livingston hit back in the 63rd minute as Myles Hippolyte crossed for White to head in at the far post and Daniel Mullen then struck the post as the visitors pushed for a winner. They were rewarded after 80 minutes when Rory Boulding found White and he turned his marker before firing past home keeper Robbie Thomson.
