Queen's Park held at home
Queen's Park maintained their eight-point advantage over third-placed Arbroath with a 1-1 draw at home to East Stirling. East Stirling midfielder Luke Donnelly hit the woodwork from a tight angle in the opening stages and Pat Slattery was only inches away from heading in the opener for Queen's Park in a lively start. The home side opened the scoring in the 28th when Ciaran McElroy cheekily nutmegged Jon Tully to set up Slattery and he fired home.Queen's Park should have doubled their advantage shortly afterwards as Paul Woods headed over a Sean Burns cross when it looked easier to score.Kevin Nisbet sent a warning to the home side as he flashed an effort agonisingly wide, and the equaliser arrived moments later when Nisbet took advantage of some poor defending to slot home from close in.Slattery went closest to a winner but he was denied by a decent stop from Richie Barnard.
