Ben Williamson's lucky goal helps Cambridge beat Notts County

Ben Williamson's fluke goal proved decisive as Cambridge beat Notts County 3-1.With the game poised at 1-1 and 13 minutes from time, County goalkeeper Roy Carroll cleared the ball into Williamson and the ball looped back over him before trickling over the line.The visitors had led at half time, with Adam Campbell opening the scoring for the Magpies after 24 minutes. He turned the ball home following a goalmouth scramble which had seen Izale McLeod hit a post from Liam Noble's corner.Cambridge almost drew level on the half hour but Carroll produced a stunning save to deny Luke Berry's header from Jordan Jones' cross.Barry Corr came off the bench at half time and within five minutes netted his 10th goal of the season, a penalty after Alan Smith felled Williamson.After Williamson's goal, Berry sealed the result three minutes from time when finishing off a fine counter-attacking move with Williamson again central.The U's have won successive games for the first time since January and climb above their opponents in League Two.
