Ade Azeez leaves it late as AFC Wimbledon deny Wycombe

Ade Azeez's injury-time strike earned AFC Wimbledon a late point after a 1-1 draw with Wycombe at the Cherry Red Records Stadium. The visitors had looked to be on course for a second consecutive away league win after Jason McCarthy scored his first professional goal shortly after half-time.But Azeez popped up in the first minute of added time to send the Dons fans home happy.A first half of minimal quality saw neither side assert themselves as Lyle Taylor blasted Wimbledon's best chance over the bar from the edge of the area after Wycombe failed to clear George Francomb's corner. For the Chairboys, Luke O'Nien fired wide from 20 yards before Ben Wilson saved comfortably from Sam Wood's free-kick.But Wycombe found themselves in front shortly after the break as McCarthy bundled in from close-range after Michael Harriman's free-kick caused a scramble in the Dons box.A triple substitution on the hour from Neal Ardley eventually paid dividends for the Dons late on as Azeez fired home from 12 yards after Matt Ingram's punched clearance only made it as far as the striker.
