Notts County down Yeovil to end losing run

Second-half strikes from Stanley Aborah and Izale McLeod helped Notts County end their three-match losing run with a 2-0 win against Yeovil. The Magpies were frustrated by the visitors in the first half with the Glovers happy to put 10 men behind the ball, though Ricardo Moniz's side still created chances with McLeod hitting the post after being put through by Adam Campbell. It was then Campbell's turn to hit the woodwork with a cross-shot before Liam Noble forced Artur Krysiak to punch away his 30-yard drive.Yeovil offered little in attack themselves and in the second half they were forced to abandon their defensive nature when Aborah's deflected free-kick gave County the lead in the 55th minute. It was 2-0 not long after when McLeod raced through and his powerful strike had too much speed and accuracy for goalkeeper Krysiak.Yeovil did push forward to search for a way back into the game, but it was County who looked the most threatening although they could not add to the scoreline.
