Lyle Taylor sets up Wimbledon win

Lyle Taylor's early strike and a late breakaway goal for substitute Sean Rigg clinched a 2-0 victory for AFC Wimbledon and condemned Barnet to a second away defeat of the week.Taylor pounced from close range following George Francomb's pass to give his side an early lead while Rigg confirmed the points late on as Barnet pushed for an equaliser.The visitors could have been 2-0 down before half-time but Max Crocombe saved Francomb's penalty.It was Barnet who had the first chance of the game in the fourth minute as John Akinde directed his shot towards goal but James Shea proved equal to it, before Taylor scored three minutes later.Things almost got worse for the visitors when Michael Nelson conceded a penalty following a sliding tackle on Adebayo Azeez but Crocombe went to his left to save Francomb's spot-kick.The lively Azeez was a constant threat for Wimbledon but Crocombe was impressive in goal. The keeper then went up field in the dying minutes in search of an equaliser but Rigg confirmed Wimbledon's win after a knock-on from Adebayo Akinfenwa.
