Honours even after draw in Dagenham
A dull first half gave way to a pulsating second but Dagenham and Notts County had to settle for a point from a 1-1 draw.After 34 minutes without a single shot on target, County took the lead through Adam Campbell with his first goal of the season.The former Newcastle man broke past two defenders down the left before entering the box and stroking the ball past Daggers stopper Liam O'Brien.Ayo Obileye went close with a half volley in the 56th minute, after his initial free-kick from 30 yards hit the wall, as Dagenham pushed for an equaliser.But it was County who nearly went ahead in the 71st minute, only for O'Brien to brilliantly deny Campbell a second from close range,And it proved a crucial save, with Jodi Jones scoring the leveller with a fantastic curler from 30 yards.County were awarded a penalty in the 76th minute after Andre Boucaud tripped Jack Barmby, but O'Brien pushed Izale McLeod's subsequent spot-kick away.
