Robbie Thomson own goal helps Raith into Ladbrokes Championship play-off places
Raith Rovers moved into the Scottish Championship play-off places following a 1-1 draw with Queen of the South at Palmerston Park. The visitors went ahead in the 22nd minute when goalkeeper Robbie Thomson fumbled a cross into his own goal. But Queen of the South equalised just three minutes after the interval as Alex Harris beat his marker down the right and squared for Iain Russell to net his fifth goal of the season from close range.Gary Oliver wasted a glorious opportunity to secure all three points for the hosts late on, the substitute failing to beat Thomson after latching onto a Derek Lyle flick-on.
