East Stirling pull off a shock win at Queen's Park

East Stirling moved off the bottom of the League Two table after a surprise 3-0 victory at promotion-chasing Queen's Park in wintry conditions. The home side began the day five points off top spot and had opportunities to break the deadlock - most notably when David Galt headed against the outside of the post - before the Shire took a 36th-minute lead.Thomas Orr took advantage of Bryan Wharton's poor header to burst through on goal and finish past William Muir before David McKenna doubled the advantage six minutes later with his close range strike. The visitors had been without a victory in four league matches, with three defeats, but they made it two wins out of two over Queen's Park after Scott Ferries took advantage of more poor defending to slot home in the 68th minute.
