Second-half display from Elgin too much for East Fife

Two second-half goals proved enough for Elgin to claim three points as they beat East Fife 4-2 at Borough Briggs. The hosts started at a rapid pace, scoring twice in the opening five minutes before they were pegged back.Brian Cameron netted after around 30 seconds by finding the bottom corner before Craig Gunn's 12th league goal of the season just three minutes later doubled the lead. However, Kyle Wilkie pulled one back with a fine finish in the 10th minute of a hectic opening and Nathan Austin made sure it was level at half-time after firing into the roof of the net from six yards.Darryl McHardy finished emphatically from close-range just past the hour-mark to put Elgin ahead once more with Daniel Moore securing the win with a free-kick in stoppage time to move Elgin third in the league.
