Five-star Queen's Park crush East Stirling
Queen's Park eased past East Stirling with a 5-1 win at Hampden Park. Two goals in short succession midway through the first half opened the floodgates. Ryan McGeever was ideally placed to fire in a loose ball after Richard Barnard had saved from Paul Woods in the 21st minute and Sean Burns crossed for Chris Duggan to find the net a minute later.Alistair Roy halved the deficit midway through the second half, scoring left-footed from a nicely-weighted pass by Nathan Shepherd.Woods, however, made the game safe from the penalty spot after a foul by Reece Donaldson on David Galt in the 69th minute.Further goals from Galt (83) and John Carter (86) turned a victory into a rout for Gus MacPherson's men.
