Elgin ease to victory
Four goals in the opening hour helped Elgin to ease past East Stirling at Borough Briggs, with a 4-0 victory in Ladbrokes Scottish League Two.Maxwell Wright and Alistair Roy had early chances for East Stirling, with alert goalkeeping by Mark Hurst denying their efforts.Daniel Moore put the home side ahead after 23 minutes, firing into the bottom corner following increased pressure from the home side.Elgin's Craig Gunn pulled a shot wide of the target before Hurst was on hand again to save Kris Faulds' effort.Kyle MacLeod soon doubled the home side's advantage, linking up well with Daniel Moore before finishing coolly from close range.Gunn made it three as he fired across goal to beat Richard Barnard, after good work by Matthew Cooper, and two minutes later Darryl McHardy latched onto Moore's free-kick to put the home side 4-0 up and out of sight.
