Spiders reach last four of Scottish Challenge Cup
Queen's Park advanced to the semi-finals of the Scottish Challenge Cup with a 2-1 home win over Elgin.Having left it late to seal their passage in the two previous rounds, the Spiders did the damage early on at Hampden.A second-minute corner was cleared only as far as Craig McLeish, whose low strike was prodded into the net by John Carter.Anthony Ralston then crossed for Chris Duggan to control and double the lead 16 minutes later.Darryl McHardy pulled one back in the second half for the Black and Whites, Archie MacPhee setting him up for his third goal of the season.
