FC Goa began their Indian Super League (ISL) campaign with a 2-0 win over Delhi Dynamos on Sunday.

In a battle of two Brazilian coaches, Zico came away with the victory over Roberto Carlos who subbed himself off during the match.

Goa took the lead as Souvik Chakraborty put through his own net after Romeo Fernandes beat former Liverpool defender John Arne Riise to send in the cross.

Then, in injury time of the first half, Jofre Mateu Gonzalez was brought down just outside the box by defender Vinicius and got up to take the free kick himself. Reinaldo Oliveira deflected the effort home to make it 2-0.

Florent Malouda and Riise had efforts to get Delhi back into the game, but Goa held on for all three points.
