Mexico held to 0-0 draw against Honduras in friendly
Mexico were unable to break through against Honduras as they were held to a 0-0 draw on Saturday in Atlanta.
In front of a reported 70,000 fans at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Tata Martino's Mexico were unable to score but saw Carlos Rodriguez hit the crossbar in the first half and Uriel Antuna missed a glorious chance in the final minute as his header went wide.
El Tri were beaten 3-2 after extra-time last week by the United States in the inaugural Nations League final and took on Honduras as part of their warmup for the upcoming CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Defending champions Mexico will also face Panama (June 30) and Nigeria (July 3) before their Gold Cup campaign begins on July 10.
