Portland Thorns rally to 2-2 draw with Racing Louisville

The Thorns came back from a two-goal deficit at halftime thanks to scores from Morgan Weaver and Sam Coffey and secured a 2-2 draw against Racing Louisville FC on Saturday at Providence Park.

Kelli Hubly assisted on Coffey's equalizer to the top left corner in the ninth minute of stoppage time.

Racing Louisville took an early lead with Uchenna Kanu scoring twice in the first half. Kanu's first goal came in the third minute with a left-footed shot from inside the box followed by a header from close range -- as assisted by Reilyn Turner with a cross -- just three minutes later.

Kanu stood out not only for her brace but also for consistently threatening Portland's defense throughout much of the match until she was substituted in stoppage time.

Weaver ignited Portland's rally with her goal in the 52nd minute, converting Sophia Smith's assist into a left-footed strike from the left side of the box that found its way into the bottom right corner of the net.
