The Orlando Pride secured a 1-0 victory over the San Diego Wave FC on Friday at Exploria Stadium. Summer Yates scored the goal in the first half, leading her team to its third win.

Yates' decisive moment came in the 26th minute when she capitalized on a well-timed pass from Marta and slotted a right-footed shot into the center of the goal. This marked Yates' second goal of the season and proved to be enough for Orlando (3-3-0) to claim all three points.
