The Orlando Pride, led by Barbra Banda's two goals and an assist, defeated the Utah Royals 6-0 at Inter&Co Stadium on Friday.
Banda opened the scoring in the 27th minute with a header from close range, assisted by Kerry Abello. Summer Yates doubled the lead just before halftime with a right-footed shot from the center of the box.
Marta added a third goal for Orlando early in the second half with a left-footed strike following a set-piece situation. Banda scored her second goal in the 86th minute, followed by another Marta goal two minutes later. Ally Watt capped off the scoring in stoppage time with a right-footed shot from close range.
Utah struggled throughout and failed to find any rhythm against Orlando's relentless attack. Despite several attempts, including shots from Amandine Henry and Macey Fraser that were saved or blocked, it couldn't break through Jane Campbell's defense.
