Yuki Nagasato scored the lone goal as the Houston Dash defeated Seattle Reign FC 1-0 at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston on Saturday. The victory improved the Dash's record to 4-5-12, while the Reign fell to 5-6-11.

Nagasato found the back of the net in the 50th minute with a left-footed shot from outside the box that sailed into the top right corner.

Houston goalkeeper Jane Campbell made two crucial saves.

The Dash snapped a six-match losing streak.

Seattle had several opportunities but couldn't find a way past Campbell.

Houston's Jane Campbell, Diana Ordóñez, Andressa Alves and Bárbara Olivieri and Seattle's Hanna Glas and Jaelin Howell all received yellow cards.

Up next: The Dash visit the Orlando Pride on Sept. 28 at Inter&Co Stadium at 7:30 p.m. ET, broadcast live on ION. Seattle will host Bay FC on Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. ET at Lumen Field (Paramount+/NWSL+).
