The ISL served up its first multi-goal match of the season with FC Goa coming from 2-0 down to draw Bengaluru FC (BFC) 2-2 in a thrilling match at the Fatorda.

BFC opened the scoring in the 29th minute with Cleiton Silva pouncing on a long throw from Harmanjot Khabra that was flicked on twice, by Erik Paartalu and Kristian Ospeth, the two big men outmuscling their markers. Silva was more alive to the situation, and caught his marker napping before heading past a hapless Mohammad Nawaz

They doubled their lead on the 57th minute with Juanan running onto another well worked set piece, Cleiton Silva and Erik Paartalu exchanging headers before the latter set up Juanan to tuck into the goal from inside the six-yard box.

Alberto Noguera came on for FC Goa in the 65th minute and within a minute set up compatriot Igor Angulo after a flowing move to score their first goal. Angulo had spent the past hour trying to play on the shoulder of the BFC defence, but had not had any luck. Noguera's pass was inch-perfect, though, as was Angulo's run, and his low left footed finish was unerring.

Three minutes later, Noguera bundled home the equaliser after another flowing move, another substitue Brandon Fernandes at the heart of it all. Coach Juan Ferrando's substitutions wresting control of the game away from a BFC who had looked comfortable for the first hour.

The two sides then lost a little shape as they chased a winner, but an increasingly fractious match ended with the two sharing spoils.
