    Dinamo Minsk 0-2 PAOK Salonika

Two late goals from Stefanos Athanasiadis kept alive PAOK Salonika's bid to reach the last 32 of the Europa League as they won 2-0 away to Dinamo Minsk.Athanasiadis scored twice in the last 10 minutes after PAOK, sluggish for 70 minutes, came to life late in the game to claim three points which move them level with Guingamp in Group K.The two will meet in Greece on December 11 for the right to follow Fiorentina into the knockout stages. PAOK had the first chance of note when Athanasiadis shot at goal in the 13th minute, but Oleg Veretilo blocked it at the expense of a corner. And from then on, it was Minsk - already eliminated from the competition - who were on top.Igor Stasevich's shot was too close to Panagiotis Glykos before the same player shot wide from 20 yards.Franck Djadjedje was also off-target with a shot from outside the area and the teams went in at half-time with the score goalless. The wayward shooting continued in the second half as Chigozie Udoji's effort sailed wide of the post, but Glykos was alert enough to push Stasevich's 55th minute free-kick around the post. PAOK had done little to that point to suggest they were worthy of a place in the knockout stages, but began to apply some pressure as the game moved into the final 20 minutes.Athanasiadis headed over from close range before Razvan Rat's free-kick floated into the hands of Syarhey Ignatovich. The Dinamo goalkeeper then did well to turn Fanis Tzandaris' shot around the post for a corner, but the breakthrough came in the 82nd minute.Facundo Pereyra was the provider, playing the ball in from the right for Athanasiadis to slot home from close range. Athanasiadis then tried again from long-range but his shot was easy enough for Ignatovich to handle. However, his second goal soon arrived, with Ergis Pace this time the provider as the forward fired in a low shot from close to the penalty spot.It proved Athanasiadis' last involvement, however, as he was hurt in the process and promptly replaced by Dimitrios Papadopoulos.ends

      Guingamp 2-0 Dinamo Minsk

Guingamp boosted their qualification hopes in Europa League Group K with a 2-0 win over Dinamo Minsk.Claudio Beauvue gave the French side the lead just before half-time and Jonas Lossl saved Igor Stasevich's penalty to preserve a third straight European clean sheet.Christophe Mandanne then scored a late clincher to take his side three points clear of PAOK Salonika in second place behind Fiorentina, after those two teams drew 1-1 in Florence.Guingamp's Lionel Mathis fired wide with the only effort on goal in an opening 25-minute period which saw both teams fail to convert set-piece opportunities into clear sights of goal.Baissama Sankoh, with a 30-yard blast, and Beauvue both missed the target as the hosts tried to assert their authority on the first half.Dinamo's first chance came from a 30-yard free-kick, following Laurent Dos Santos' foul on Chigozie Udoji, but Dmitry Molosh's powerful strike was saved by Lossl and it proved merely to be the prelude to a Guingamp opener.Mandanne looked set to put his side in front and, although he was brilliantly denied by defender Sergei Politevich, Beauvue was following up and stretched to steer the ball in from 12 yards. He threatened another in first-half stoppage time, but his header from Sylvain Marveaux's free-kick went wide.Stasevich was one of two half-time substitutes for Dinamo as he and Yaroslav Yarotsky replaced Franck Dja Djedje and Igor Voronkov. It was the midfielder's 50th game in Europe, as well as his team's 100th, and he was given the chance to mark the occasion with a goal when Christophe Kerbrat fouled Adama Diomande in the box, but his spot-kick was saved by Lossl diving low to his left.Mandanne forced a good save from Aleksandr Gutor and Beauvue headed wide before the former had the best chance yet to kill the game off.Sambou Yatabare's free-kick picked out Mandanne in the box, but his shot hit a post and bounced away to safety. He was not to be denied, though, and with four minutes remaining he met Beauvue's right-wing cross with a neat right-foot finish into the top corner to give Gutor no chance.Fiorentina are next up for Guingamp, at home in three weeks' time, but the trip to PAOK a fortnight later is likely to be the decisive game in settling the qualification picture.ends

        Dinamo Minsk 0-0 Guingamp

Dinamo Minsk and Guingamp played out a lively goalless draw in Europa League Group K on Thursday.Vladzimir Zhuravel's home side will perhaps feel hard done to having created the bulk of the chances, but a failure to break down their French opponents cost them the win.A point gives them one from nine so far and qualification is unlikely, but Guingamp - with four from nine - will feel better set and will feel like they could have won also, having hit the post late on.Having shipped nine goals in their two Europa games prior to this one, Minsk were desperate to get on top and as such created numerous early chances.Nemanja Nikolic had a 30-yarder saved by Jonas Lossl, and then Franck Djadjedje had an effort blocked by Brou Angoua as he took aim from just inside the area. The pressure continued and Igor Stasevich nodded wide from a corner, before Djadjedje should have hit the target from close in, only to go well wide. There was a lull after that but the chances that continued to come were for the home side, with Nenad Adamovic the next to have a go, Lossl fielding his header.Guingamp eventually woke up and Rachid Alioui registered their first effort in the 27th minute, warming the palms of Syarhey Ignatovich.A second chance came their way not long after, with Alioui again getting it, this time working the goalkeeper and then again on a rebound which he could not convert.Guingamp's improvements continued into the second half, with Claudio Beauvue driving in an effort that skipped wide. That strike kicked off a chaotic period which saw Minsk's Hernan Figueredo go close and then team-mates Igor Stasevich and Sergey Kontsevoi do the same.Having ridden another wave, Guingamp then hit back as Sambou Yatabare worked Ignatovich.Minsk kept coming back too but, despite Oleg Veretilo seeing a shot charged down and Nikolic again going off target, deadlock remained. That was threatened in the 84th minute as Guingamp's Christophe Mandanne got in, but his low strike hit the post.ends

          Dinamo Minsk 0-3 Fiorentina

Fiorentina made it two wins from as many games to take control of Group K in the Europa League after brushing aside Dinamo Minsk 3-0.La Viola, who had beaten French side Guingamp by the same margin in their opener, were confronted with a side that had won all of their European matches at the Traktor Stadium this season but which were beaten 6-1 at PAOK Salonika last time out.Yet the Italian side were rarely troubled and goals from Alberto Aquilani, Josip Ilicic and Federico Bernardeschi helped them to a deserved victory and one that took them three points clear in the group, following Guingamp's victory over Salonika. The visitors started with plenty of intent and could have been ahead in the opening minutes as Bernardeschi's volley was superbly pushed over by Dinamo goalkeeper Syarhey Ignatovich.Dinamo had a rare sight at goal as Igor Stasevich's strike was blocked by Nenad Tomovic while at the other end Ilicic's long range effort had to be tipped round the post by Ignatovich.Fiorentina were almost caught out as Nenad Adamovic's shot from distance was parried over by shot-stopper Ciprian Tatarusanu, but the visitors weathered the storm and took the lead after 33 minutes.Ignatovich failed to deal with Manuel Pasqual's cross from the left and Sergey Kontsevoi's headed clearance fell as far as far as Aquilani, who drilled home with the goal gaping. The Dinamo keeper made amends shortly after by saving well from another Ilicic sighter, while Fiorentina's joy at taking the lead may have been tempered when full-back Micah Richards limped off before half-time with an apparent hamstring injury.Despite being overmatched for much of the first half, the hosts almost levelled matters as Hernan Figueredo fired over from an excellent position. It was a wasted opportunity as Fiorentina quickly reasserted themselves and two goals in the space of six minutes ended the game as a contest.Once again, Dinamo failed to clear their lines and Andrea Lazzari, who had only been on the pitch for a minute after replacing Borja Valero, put in an angled pass from the left to allow Ilicic to tuck home from the back post just after the hour mark. The two then combined after 67 minutes to end any remaining hopes Dinamo had of becoming the first Belarusian team to beat a club from Serie A as their passes allowed Bernardeschi to slot in from a tight angle.Fiorentina kept control of the tempo and appeared content to simply coast to victory although Tatarusanu had to make another good stop from a Nemanja Nikolic drive in the closing stages as Dinamo attempted to add some respectability to the scoreline to no avail.ends

            PAOK Salonika 6-1 Dinamo Minsk

Stefanos Athanasiadis scored a first-half hat-trick as PAOK Salonika thrashed 10-man Dinamo Minsk 6-1 in their opening Europa League Group K fixture on Thursday night.Nemanja Nikolic's fourth-minute own goal set the hosts on their way before Athanasiadis notched three times in the space of 16 minutes to put his side well in control.Dimitrios Papadopoulos added the fifth early in the second half to add the gloss to the victory before Dinamo's Slobodan Simovic was sent off in the 64th minute for his second bookable offence.Nikolic atoned for his error with an 80th-minute consolation score to salvage some pride for the visitors, but Fanis Tzandaris finished things off with PAOK's sixth goal in the final minute.Nikolic headed into his own net from six yards to put the Greek side ahead, but his mistake was quickly forgotten when Athanasiadis converted Razvan Rat's cross to fire in from the middle of the area in the 11th minute. The striker claimed his second five minutes later thanks to a close-range header, again after linking up with Rat, while his third came in the 27th minute - a low strike from close to goal, and a third assist from the former Shakhtar Donetsk and West Ham left-back.Papadopoulos scored in the 50th minute with another close-range effort which flew high into the net before things went from bad to worse for Minsk when Simovic saw red after a foul on Giorgos Katsikas - his second booking of the night.Nikolic salvaged some pride late on by firing in from a central position, but PAOK had the last word as Tzandaris' strike from the left side of the box hit Minsk for six.ends
