KENT, Ohio -- Kevin Zabo scored 24 points and Adonis De La Rosa scored on a jump hook with 21 seconds remaining to lead Kent State past Ohio 70-69 on Friday night.
Kent led 37-31 at halftime before Ohio (8-8, 1/3 Mid-American) rallied and tied it at 67-all with 2:40 remaining on Gavin Block's 3-pointer. Teyvion Kirk layup gave the Bobcats a 69-68 lead with two minutes left.
