Hankerson’s late 3 lifts Green Bay past CS Northridge 85-84

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Kameron Hankerson drained the last 3-pointer of the game to give Green Bay an 85-84 victory over Cal State Northridge on Monday night.

The teams traded 3s and the lead in the final minutes before Hankerson hit the game-winning shot with 57 seconds remaining. CSU Northridge's Terrell Gomez hit a trey for an 84-82 lead 30 seconds earlier after Green Bay's PJ Pipes hit a 3-point jumper with 1:43 remaining in the game.

Lance Coleman II got off a shot behind the arc in the final second but came up short for CSU Northridge which has started the season 0-7.

JayQuan McCloud led Green Bay (3-3) with 20 points, Pipes finished with 16 while dishing out seven assists. Amari Davis added 15 points and Cody Schwartz had 13 points for the home team.

Terrell Gomez had 30 points for the Matadors. Darius Brown II added 18 points and seven assists. Coleman had 17 points and eight rebounds.

Green Bay takes on Colgate at home on Tuesday. Cal State Northridge looks for its first win against Fresno State at home on Saturday.
