Wampler, Love carry Wright State past Milwaukee 82-70

DAYTON, Ohio -- Bill Wampler had 17 points to lead five Wright State players in double figures as the Raiders topped Milwaukee 82-70 on Monday night.

Loudon Love added 16 points, Tanner Holden chipped in 14, Cole Gentry scored 12 and James Manns had 11. Wampler shot 5 for 6 on 3-pointers. Love also had nine rebounds and three assists, while Holden posted eight rebounds.

Wright State (12-3, 2-0 Horizon League) put up 52 first-half points, a season best for the team.

Darius Roy had 13 points for the Panthers (5-9, 0-2), who have now lost seven games in a row. DeAndre Abram added 12 points and six rebounds. Te'Jon Lucas had 11 points and six assists.

Wright State will pursue its sixth straight win on Friday when the team visits Oakland. Milwaukee faces IUPUI at home on Friday.
