Crosby scores 20 points in 111-59 Alcorn State win

LORMAN, Miss. -- Troymain Crosby scored 20 points with four assists, Kobe Wilson added 14 points with 12 rebounds and Alcorn State beat NAIA-member Paul Quinn 111-59 on Tuesday night for its first win of the season and fourth straight against the Tigers.

Maurice Howard scored 17 points to pass 1,000 career points and dished six assists, Corey Tillery added 17 points and Deshaw Andrews had 12 for the Braves (1-2), who never trailed and led by as many as 54 points.

Andrews's 3-pointer with 4:37 to play put Alcorn State over the 100-point mark. The Braves outscored the Tigers 31-5 on points off of turnovers and 20-7 on second-chance points.

D'Angelo Streeter scored 19 points, Mateo Escheik added 16 and Spencer McElway had 12 for Paul Quinn.

Alcorn State plays next at Memphis on Saturday.
