Weber State edges N. Colorado 60-59 on last-second foul

OGDEN, Utah -- — Michal Kozak scored the winning point from the free throw line with 0.7 seconds on the clock as Weber State edged Northern Colorado 60-59 Thursday night.

Weber State had just knotted the score 59-59 on a pair of Isaiah Brown free throws with nine seconds left and the game appeared headed to overtime after Northern Colorado's Matt Johnson missed a jump shot, which was rebounded by Kozak.

But Northern Colorado's Daylen Kountz was whistled for a reaching foul with less than a second left. Kozak made the first, missed the second, finishing with five points and six boards.

Dillon Jones came off the bench to score 18 points, Isiah Brown also scored 18 for Weber State (17-5, 12-3 Big Sky Conference), which won its sixth straight game.

Kur Jockuch had 15 points and 15 rebounds for the Bears (10-10, 6-8). Kountz added 14 points. Bodie Hume had 11 points and nine rebounds.
