For the second time in franchise history, the Diamondbacks slugged four home runs in one inning. In the top of the fifth, Ketel Marte and Asdrubal Cabrera homered off Yu Darvish and then Tim Locastro and Stephen Vogt homered off Padres reliever Tim Hill as Arizona rallied from a 6-1 deficit to take a 7-6 lead.
