Hinson's late three-pointer lifts Rip City past Texas for record sixth straight home win

Blake Hinson hit a go-ahead three-pointer with 34 seconds remaining as the Rip City Remix defeated the Texas Legends on Wednesday night to extend their franchise-record home winning streak to six  at the Chiles Center in Portland, Oregon.

The Remix (10-7) showcased a balanced offensive effort, led by guard Sean Pedulla who finished with 24 points, including 6 3-pointers, and 7 assists. The bench contributions were strong as Alex Reese had 23 points and nine rebounds, and Cameron Parker had 11 points and 10 assists. Hinson also had a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Jaylen Martin celebrated his 22nd birthday by adding 14 points off the bench, and Romeo Weems contributed 13 points.

For the Legends (5-10), Jordan Hall had a game-high-tying 24 points on 10-of-15 shooting with eight assists. Forward Dalano Banton had 22 points and a team-high nine assists and forward Jeremiah Robinson-Earl had 20 points and 11 rebounds. Sheldon Edwards Jr. had 17 points, including five 3-pointers, and Mark Armstrong chipped in 11 points in a reserve role.

The game was tied 57-57 at halftime and then again late at 117-117 when Robinson-Earl scored on a dunk after a turnover with 52 seconds left. On the ensuing possession, Hinson connected on a 25-footer to give Rip City the lead for good. Free throws from Reese and Parker sealed the game in the final seconds. The loss was the fourth straight for Texas.

Up next: The Legends host the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. ET, and the Remix visit the Mexico City Capitanes on Sunday at 5 p.m.
