CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- The Detroit Pistons hope to have superstar Grant Hill back in the lineup tonight when they battle the Cleveland Cavaliers in a matchup of struggling teams.
Without their leading scorer and best player, the Pistons stumbled down the stretch and suffered their fourth straight loss, 99-91 to Dallas. The Pistons' losing streak comes on the heels of their best stretch of the season in which they won nine of 10 games, and is the longest they started the season 0-4. The Cavaliers are in the midst of a five-game slide, losing by an average of 12.4 points. It is their longest losing streak since a seven-game slide from December 15-26. The Cavs are returning home following a 1-6 road trip and playing their first game at Gund Arena since a 111-106 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on January 10. Hill scored 32 points as the Pistons rolled to a 101-90 victory over the Cavs earlier this season in Detroit. Cleveland has won eight of 10 all-time at Gund Arena over the Pistons.
