Position players Jake Elmore and Nick Franklin each surrendered a home run to Wilson Ramos on Tuesday in the Tampa Bay Rays’ 16-4 loss to the Nationals.

The Elias Sports Bureau notes that the Rays are the first team in the expansion era (since 1961) to have two position players to each allow a home run in the same game.

The Rays had their four-game winning streak snapped.
