Broner threatens gay people in Instagram video

Boxer Adrien Broner threatened to kill gay people in a video he posted on Instagram on Tuesday night, saying, "If I ain't got my gun on me, I'm knocking you the f--- out."

The video was a response to a live stream posted by Andrew Caldwell, a social media star whose claim to fame is a video in which he is at a church and claims that he is "delivered" and no longer gay.

In his live stream, Caldwell addressed Broner and said the boxer is a closet homosexual who has made passes at him.

Broner responded, calling his post a "PSA" and saying, "If any f-g, punk-ass n----- come run up on me, trying to touch me on all that gay s---, I'm letting you know right now -- if I ain't got my gun on me, I'm knocking you the f--- out.

"If I got my gun on me, I'm shooting you in the f---ing face, and that's on God and them. I'm not playing with none of these n------s. I don't like gay s---."

Broner, 29, a four-time world titlist, has made disturbing posts on Instagram in the past. He posted an apparent reference to committing suicide in October 2016.

Broner last fought on Jan. 19, when he lost a one-sided decision to 40-year-old Manny Pacquiao, landing only 50 punches against Pacquiao.

Broner also has a history of brushes with the law. In 2017, Broner was stopped by police after crossing into Kentucky in a bullet-riddled Chevrolet Suburban. Broner told them someone shot at the car after following him from a bar in his native Cincinnati. Police then arrested him on an open warrant from 2014 for public intoxication and disorderly conduct charges and the SUV was seized.

In 2018, Broner was accused of kissing a woman against her will. He was arrested and charged with felony gross sexual imposition and abduction. That case is still pending.
