Some of the country's elite prospects will be part of Nike's newest training competition, The Opening, which is designed to give student-athletes the development and knowledge to develop their speed, explosiveness and position skills. The event, which will be held in Beaverton, Ore., will bring together top performers from 12 Nike Football Training Camps combined with other top prospects all battling for the chance to claim ultimate bragging rights.
Every position and every aspect of the game will be highlighted during the five-day program (July 5-9) with the world's top athletes and coaches putting players to the ultimate test. Nike ultimately will crown winners for the Nike 7on tournament, Nike Linemen Challenge and SPARQ Rating National Championship.
